Set permissions in All Apps > Settings > Roles.

TV Pickup Screen

A customer-facing display that shows which orders are being prepared and which are ready for pickup. It opens in a new browser tab so you can drag it to a second monitor or TV connected to your computer.

Setting up

1. Connect a second monitor or TV to your computer
2. In the POS, tap the Open pickup screen button in the top bar
3. A new browser tab opens with the pickup screen
4. Drag the tab to the second monitor
5. Full-screen the browser

What it shows

The screen has two sections:

• Preparing (left) - orders currently being cooked, with an ETA for each
• Pickup (right) - orders ready for the customer to collect, showing the customer name if available

If there are more orders than fit on screen, the display rotates through them automatically.

Order Announcement Sound

When an order is ready, Smatyx can announce the order number or table number using text-to-speech.

Enabling

Toggle the bell icon in the Sales operation app bar. When enabled, the icon shows as (active). When disabled, it shows as (off).

You can also manually announce a specific order by tapping the speaker button on the order.

On the KDS, the Call to pick up order button announces a completed order.
